• Why do you recommend safety glass for dog door installation?
  The door is only as strong as the glass that is holding it in place.... as dogs tend to go through a door faster they can easily crack the glass or worse smash the glass with a risk of being hurt....with safety glass the glass is 4 to 5 times stonger than normal glass in that thickness and in the event of a breakage, it will fracture into small, relatively harmless pieces.
• How can I tell if my glass is safety glass?
  Safety glass normally has the letter 's' or the word tempered stamped on it. This is normally found on the glass in one of the bottom corners.
• Can you cut a hole into safety glass?
  No. The hole is cut prior to it being 'toughened' which is done at the glass factory. A new panel of glass needs to be ordered. Phone us for free quotes.
• How big and how heavy are the magnets for the magnetic cat door?
  The magnets are 36mm in length, 17mm diameter and weigh about the same as a $2 coin.
• Help...my cat has lost its magnet. Do you have replacements?
  Yes we do. In the meantime push down the little plastic piece that is stopping the flap from opening and put a piece of sellotape over it....the cat door is now able to be used without a magnet until you receive your replacement.
• I need my cat door removed and the glass replaced. Can you do that?
  Yes to both. Phone with the size of the glass....height and width...and we can give you a quote over the phone.
• Are there cat doors for the small French doors?
  There are pet doors for just about any type of door or window....phone to discuss your best option.
